The Car Crushing Dinosaur

There are few things that bring a father and son together like watching a car crushing dinosaur:

UPDATE: Let me clarify that John and I didn't actually attend this event. We were just looking around on the internet for videos that included cars and dinosaurs (2 of John's favorite things) and we came across this awesome video. But if Transaurus ever came to Houston, you can bet we'd be first in line.

Keeping warm

It's 28 degrees here in Bellaire - the same temperature as Stony
Brook, NY. John and Mary are snuggled up in John's room and she is
reading him a comic book. For those of you who know me at all you can
imagine nothing warms my heart more than seeing my kids reading a
comic book together. Now I just need to get them to watch soccer games
with me more consistently...
